GENERAL INFORMATION

Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, the Wi-Fi connection is free of charge and available in all the rooms.

Is there a lift?
No, we're sorry, there is no elevator in the structure as it is an ancient Venetian palace. Upon request, our staff will be ready to assist you with your luggage.

Are pets allowed?
No, we're sorry, pets are not allowed.

Is breakfast service available?
We regret to inform you that we do not offer breakfast service. However, there is a kettle for tea and a coffee machine with complimentary pods in the rooms. Nearby, there are many bars serving a good Italian breakfast.

What is the opening period of the structure?
We are open all year round.

 


THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE ARRIVAL 

What time is check-in?
Check-in is available from 14:30 to 19:00.
After 19:00, the reception is no longer active, but we will send you an email with useful information to access the structure, and a staff member will be available to assist you further.

What time is check-out?
Your room needs to be vacated by 10:00.

Can I arrive at the hotel before the scheduled check-in time?
Yes, please inform us during the reservation or the day before arrival. You will be able to leave your luggage in the storage area free of charge until the scheduled check-in time.

Where can I park my car?
The most convenient car parks are at Tronchetto or in Piazzale Roma. For information, go to the website: www.veniceparking.it

Do you have a shuttle service that will take me from the airport/station to your hotel?
We do not have a private shuttle service. You can reach us by public transport or private taxi. For more information, see our "How to Reach Us" page.

How do I enter the hotel? Will someone be there to receive me?
The reception is open from 8 AM to 7:00 PM. A couple of days before your arrival, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the palace. During your stay, you can freely access the structure even outside our staff service hours. Please inform us of the expected arrival time so that our staff can be present to welcome you upon your arrival.

Can I leave my luggage in the storage area after check-out?
Certainly. We offer free luggage storage after check-out to all our guests. The luggage must be collected by 6.30 PM on the scheduled check-out day.

Is there a reception at Ca’ dei Dogi?
Ca’ dei Dogi has a reception service. Our staff will welcome you for check-in until 19:00. If your arrival is late at night, you can access your accommodation using the access code provided via email or smartphone a few days before your arrival. Our staff will reach you to welcome you and check-in as soon as available. During your stay, if the staff is not present on-site, you can contact them by phone at +39 041 241 3751.

What amenities are provided in the rooms?
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning or heating, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, minibar, electric kettle, coffee/tea espresso machine with free pods, toiletries, hairdryer, iron and ironing board (on request), crib (on request).

Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
Yes, the hotel has some rooms with a bathtub and others with a shower.

Are there cots and children’s beds?
Yes, they are available for free, upon request, for children up to 3 years old.

How often are the rooms cleaned?
Daily room cleaning is provided.

Do you have rooms accessible for people with disabilities?
No, unfortunately our hotel is not equipped to accommodate disabled guests.

Do you have rooms for smokers?
No, there are no rooms available for smokers

 


BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

Why did I book a refundable room but have been charged the cost of the stay?
If the booking is refundable, we do not charge anything: we just pre-authorise the booking amount. In case of cancellation within the allowed deadline, the pre-authorisation will be cancelled.

What are your cancellation policies?
Cancellation is free up to 7 days before scheduled arrival (or according to the chosen rate). Beyond this deadline, in the event of cancellation or no-show, we apply a penalty corresponding to the full amount of the stay booked.

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, CartaSi, Amex), debit cards, cash, and advance bank transfers.

What happens if I cancel my booking after the allowed deadline?
In this case, the full amount of the stay will be charged.

If I pay for my stay once I am at the hotel, why do I have to enter my credit card details when booking?
When booking online, we will request a pre-authorisation for your credit card (freezing of the amount). We only need this pre-authorisation in order to guarantee the booking: you will not be charged anything before your stay. In the event of cancellation, within the established deadline, the pre-authorisation will be cancelled.

As a confirmation, what kind of deposit do you ask for?
During booking, we must always ask for your credit card number and its expiry date, but only as a guarantee. We will not withdraw any amounts until your moment of departure, except in cases of no-show or early departure. We reserve the right to check the validity of your credit card with a pre-authorization request for the booking amount. In case there are errors, missing or invalid information, we will not consider the booking valid. Alternatively, in order to confirm the booking, we will request advance payment of the entire amount, to be paid by bank transfer.

What is the tourist tax amount?
The tourist tax is €2.00 per person per day. It must be paid at check-in.
